Personal grooming is a massive growth industry and appeals to both men and women. Hair removal, or waxing in particular, is a popular and profitable service to offer your clients, for which they may return every four to six weeks.
Areas like anatomy, patient physiology, hair removal, skin problems and diseases, contra-indications, and contra-actions, male waxing, technique, reception, consultation, and ventilation are throughly covered in GTi Waxing Course, which adhers to the Habia National Occupational Standards.
Detailed training in professional waxing on face, legs, bikini line, and underarms are given in this waxing training course.
The GTi Waxing training course incorporates the GTi Professional Standards course for those individuals who have not finished the course in the past.
Students attending this course are required to grow their hair in the areas covered by the course, as you will carry out practical sessions working on the other students, therefore please allow sufficient time for your hair to grow at least 5mm-1cm. Entry Requirement:
No previous experience is necessary to complete this training course.
Class Size:
Small classes offering individual attention – no more than 6 per class.
Examination System:
E-learning & Practical assessment.
The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images and a voice-over. Upon completion of the online theory modules, you will receive a PDF manual which you can refer back to. Twelve of the modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.
There is also a practical training session with Rebecca Amlani at Beautivision. You will have the opportunity to practise the routine on friends and family before being assessed at a time to suit you. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi Waxing certificate.
Course Fees:
£150 including a comprehensive training manual to support your ongoing learning.
A Deposit of £45.00 is payable in advance, with the balance of £105.00 due/payable 14 days prior to the course date.
